Born in San Sebastian, Francesco Corti is graduated in Madrid Conservatorium, R.Schumann Hochschule Dusseldorf and Vienna University with teachers like Rosa Fain, J.Kussmaul.,Ch. A.Linale, Ulli Engel, Erich Horbarth, Hiro Kurosaki, Jose Vazquez and Gertrud Weinmaster, . He is a member of groups like Irish Baroque Orchestra, Le Cercle de L’harmonie, Alayreespañol, Wiener Akademie, KOB, Capella Gabetta ,Bach Consort Wien, Haydn Akademie, Orpheon Consort, Pulcinella ensemble, la Galania, Barucco, working with great musicians as Cristoph Coin, Elisabeth Wallfish, Ricardo Minassi,Gordan Nikolich, Simon Standage or Monica Hugguet among others and doing a lot of recordings for EMI,DG, and many WordRadios.

He Plays on an original 18th century german violin for baroque and a French H.C Silvestre 1825 for classical romantique and modern music.
